Let’s Talk about… are 60-minute online meetings for women, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people who work as active musicians, artists, DJs or in other areas of the Swiss music industry. We talk in a safer space about important topics and challenges in today’s music world – for example mental health, band leading, the art of failing, or cultural appropriation.
What to expect:
By sharing experiences, better practises and questions, we become aware of the challenges in the music industry and learn how we can support each other better.
The goal: an open-minded, strong, and supportive Swiss music scene.
We’re looking forward to meet you!
Let’s Talk about… is currently in a pilot phase and will take place four times in 2026. After that, we will review, evaluate and adapt the format. Feel free to contact us if there is a topic you would like us to address.

How do you build a real fanbase in 2026? In this input, Nina Mathys shares insights into fan behaviour and motivations, alongside practical examples of fan-first strategies. From understanding what drives fans to applying a four-phase model — discovery, engagement, activations, and community — this session breaks down what turns listeners into engaged superfans and long-term supporters. There will also be space for your own questions and discussion.
Nina Mathys is a self-proclaimed professional fangirl turned marketing strategist from Switzerland. She founded blank agency in 2024 on the belief that fans aren’t just an audience, but part of the story. With a background in running organic fan accounts, she now helps artists build fan-first strategies and community-driven campaigns. Her approach is to turn fans into creators, advocates, and active parts of an artist’s world.
