Mix a band yourself and by doing so learn the most important mixing and insert effects needed for it. From live sound, move on to mixing in the DAW – where you digitally implement your observations and insights. Learn about the essential tools and workflows and work on your own mix with the support of the two coaches.
Requirements You are already using a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and know, for example, where the plugins are located in your program and how to set up your I/O. Both coaches work with the DAW “Protools” – but you can work with the DAW of your choice at the workshop.

Learn how to mix a band yourself in just one weekend – from the live stage to your DAW! Discover the essential tools, effects and techniques to make your sound shine. With personal guidance from our coaches Carmen Fenk & Sarah Rama Zuber, you’ll work on your own mix and put what you learn directly into practice.
There is also the option of a 60–90 minute online follow-up session with all participants and coaches. The group will decide during the weekend whether the follow-up will take place.
Requirements: You already use a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and are familiar with the basics – for example, you know where to find plugins and how to set up your I/O.
Both coaches work with Pro Tools, but you are welcome to use the DAW of your choice during the workshop.
